A light in the darkness

Yes, indeed, from the darkness... I like the way the candle does just that. Kinda soft focusy, which works. In this instance, maybe a boder could've added an extra umph. Not sure.

Yellow Rose

You know, for the most part I think I'll be tired of seeing flower shot after flower shot, but then something like this comes along. This is a wonderful shot, brilliant details (seeing the veins inthe petals, whoa!), great composition, shoarply focused, the whole ball o' wax! However great this shot is, the bordere just isn't doing anything for me. It is very small but still takes away bit from it, IMO. Other than that, Good Stuff!

I like the crop here. Very nice. Iluv the yellow highlights of the branches. It adds a little extra to the shot, a dynamic feel to it. Technically, the shot is good. Good stuff!

everything looks good here, sharpness & focus, composition, fitting the challenge. On the slightest (infintestimol, really) the shadow in the BG, looks like a man's ear. Grabbing just a bit of my attention. Other than that, nice shot.
