Local Law 23 is a law my org & other NYC orgs got passed by the city ouncil that allows welfare recipients to choose education over forced labour. It gives welfare recipients a meaningful opportunity to exit th welfare rolls. Folks can choose 2 or 4 ear college or other vocational schools that will teach them a true skill to get a good job. Mayor Bloomberg's has yet to implement it even tho it's been on the books for over a year.
Go figure Billionaires!

okay.... i'm sure you have gotten LOTS of "too much neatimage" comments, so I'll skip over how plasticy the shot looks. It's a bit on the dark side, especially for those who have uncalibrated monitors. I do like the comp here & it seems like a nice crisp shot.

this is a great shot. since the defining feature is the eyes I would think that the focus should be rather sharp but it seems quite soft here on my monitor. Also, the b&w I think could use a bit more contrast.

this is a great shot! Not to ake away anything from the 1st & 2nd place, but I certainly thought this should have beat out the other shots. Regardless, you continue to scoop up ribbons! Congrats on another great shot!
