The idea here is interesting, I like it. The shot comes off a bit flat to me & the 'rhythm' here is subtle. I've found that subtly does not bode well here at DPC. I imagine this is a ballon of sorts. Perhaps panning out a bit to include more to the pic might have bumped up your shot. Also a bit more in contrast & a different colour border might have made things a bit less flat IMHO.

Wow! I originally scored this a 7... don;t know what I was thinking. I'm very pleased that I've come back to this shot as it deserves a serious bump up. I attention went striaght to the eyes as it should. You've done a beautiful job with this capture. I like the post processing here as well. A dark * dangerous feel to it but with a touch of softness. This is a fantastic shot but I;m quite certain you know this. Sure to ribbon for a myriad of reasons. Here are some of mine: superb composition and deep dof, accurate & telling title (a rarity IMHO here at dpc)and nice contrast of colours. Everything really pops out at you without one object over shadowing the others. Sure to ribbon. Good luck! 10
