It's different, and a good idea, but to me the two most important ingredients to this kind of still life are missing: sharpness and interesting lighting.

An interesting setup. I like the gestalt, but when I look closely, it looks motion blurred. I'm guessing you shot this in really low light, like maybe just the candles? Also looks tilted slighty left.

Good idea. I didn't even think of shooting electronics for the still life! I like the background here, I think it might have benefited from some more light on the component side of the board. The connector edge too does not come across as well as I have seen in other shots because of lighting as well.

There's perhaps too little of these objects in the picture to be called a still life. Also, the lighting isn't very interesting (flat). And since we don't know anything about the call, I have trouble relating. (Though I am a big fan of starbucks!)

I think a closeup of the contents of the cup might have been an interesting still life. Or at least maybe a top down arrangement of cakes with the startbucks cup as the "non-cake" element, taken from the top, with good light. Maybe next time.
