AUCKLAND FROM THE DISTANCEby slonkoComment: Good use of the window for framing; nice light. Might have been nice to block the sun further with that angled right frame. |

CandyTuftby justineComment: The choice of including the inside frame + was good, but the flowers are very unbalanced in that composition IMHO (So few in the largest area). Maybe there was a way to compose with an overall balance (or maybe not). |

From the lighthouseby willemComment: Nice view; it might have been cool to square off the window frame; if it was a nice wood, you could have even framed it by providing a bit of inside light on it. But in any case, the bottom light lip (and the bit at the top) probably should have been cropped. |

Spring Strollby BobsterLobsterComment: I like the scene and the choice of B&W I think it would have benefited from a square perspective with the window frame. |

West Viewby katlynComment: I like the view and the light, though the sun is a bit strong (and if you had used your top F-stop, you might have gotten a star effect here). I think it might have been better to leave in less of the window frame--it's a bit bold, and given it's only on two sides, it might be better to downplay it in the image. |

The Ferry Rideby ccraftComment: Nice shot through the glass; I like the view and particularly the sillouetted fellow. If you could have done a bit of staging, putting someone interesting to sillouette in each window, you'd have a winner for that upcoming challenge. |

Rainy Dayby paganiniComment: Makes an interesting abstract but not much view through this window. I like the tilt here. |

Blind Viewby channeledComment: Looks like a nice window view, but the blinds don't really add here. The sun could look better too--if you use your highest aperature, on a digital camera you would have gotten a star effect; but I think your window view woud have looked great on a rainy day, or a foggy day, or early am with some interesting light through the trees but not the sun dead on. Also, a polarizer would eliminate the reflections (looks like a cup reflecting). |

Looking back........by tolovemoonComment: Looks like it was taken at night... too much noise/color noise! Aside from that, it's not even too clear we are looking out a window, though I suppose that's the frame vertically? |
