Black/White, Up/Down, Left/Right, Back to Back doh !by FalcComment: Lots of opposites, I don't think they needed to be pointed out in the title. Of course, I blew mine and didn't say that and people aren't seeing it. But this is not so subtle!
Good use of B&W, good composition and exposure. |

Away from it allby heidaComment: I knew this was yours Heida! I thought it was another ribbon, and it certainly deserved one, but congrats anyway on a strong finish and an even stronger photo! |

clock museumby suemackComment: Beautiful perspective, nice composition. Nit: Seems to have a slightly blue/magenta cast (nikon?) and there's a line in the sky, which may be a plane, or may be some other noise. It think it might have been better cloned out. |

Underwaterby GeneralEComment: Certainly meets the challenge, but without an underwater camera and the right light, this doesn't have any focal point, and does not have pleasing aesthetics. |

An old foggy roadby KenTrippComment: Very moody shot! Love the rich greens and mist! To me, I think it would have been better to catch more of the vertical for those center trees. They just seem chopped, and the grass in the foreground not as necessary. In fact, yo umight have been able to get the fence coming from the bottom left, and extending to just below center, and then the foggy sky, including a bit more of the trees. |

solitude (my first trip to the mountains)by fstopopenComment: Nice use of the tree and foreground objects to give depth to this gorgeous view. A little fill flash might have been an interesting way to get a little more light on the trunk of the tree. |

Away from it allby heidaComment: I love the use of negative space here. It adds great drama along with the light and how it strikes the water almost in a misty fashion. Fantastic work. I predict a ribbon the color of the water. |
