Go Southby jonrComment: A good capture of the duck/goose but the PS work on the sky is too obvious and detracts from this otherwise interesting photo. Also, ignoring the sky for a bit, a faster shutter speed would have frozen the wings better (though some may like the sense of motion , to me they just look blurry. |

"Wild Time in the Old Town Tonight"by tfarrell23Comment: Well, it's quite a sight, but of course technically this photo suffers from the angle relative to the animals, and the blown out background. I think a tight crop would have been better than including the background , especially on the right. |

Chistina and Sara. Wild? You'd better believe it!by livingfictionComment: Cute shot; very good technically, though I think the composition is too tight on the top, and the shadow figure upper left is distracting enough that I would have cloned it out. These comments notwithstanding, I don't see this meeting the challenge. |

Paradise Lostby scalvertComment: Great shot, especially through glass! What focal length was it? I have the 70-200mm, now I am wondering if I should go for the teleconverter too! |

Fawn in Fogby ubiquitousComment: The light is great--has a very surreal painterly feel as well as the surrealness of this fawn out of his environment. This is my top pick for the challenge; I hope you do well and don't get hit for the "unnatural" environment. That's the fault of people, and it gives this more impact. |

Unexpected encounterby bormicComment: I like the diagonal composition here, and the contrast of colors between left diagonal foreground and upper right. The bear is ell caught, though coming the other direction might have been better to see his face (though then he'd be walking off the picture rather than into it). All in all, one of my top picks for the challenge. Good luck.. |
