Interesting shot, though I would not consider a wireless mike to be low tech (nor non-electronic as the chalenge called for!) I like the composition (negative space) but the crop on the singer seems to "in-between" for me (not a severe, intentional crop, nor a minor, non-crop). Or something like that ;)

Good idea! IMHO focus should be on items being crushed, seems a bit soft. I like the comp. Lighting, however, seems a bif flat, and perhaps the skin was treated with neatimageo or it's a closup issue because the hand eems a bit plastic.

Nice idea for low tech. Overall, this is well done, but to me seems done in a rather "sterile" studio manner; it might have been nice to do this on a desk, with candlelight, etc. to add atmosphere.

I am not sure what this has to do with low tech. I'm sure you have some low tech concept that this is following, but the message (challenge theme) has to be somewhat apparent to the viewer! Also, this appears to be oversharpened, and unevenly exposed/leveled. With regard to the latter, I think it would have been better to crop the bottom out and stick to the contrasty region which is more appealing.
