Waiting for the Rainby CantiqueComment: This is very cool--a good idea, and well carried out. I like the painterly feel. You might try to increase the contrast here--I did with an S curve in curves and it really pops. I downloaded this shot and tried a quick S curve using Mehdi's Curves plugin (//www.mehdiplugins.com/english/curves.htm), if you use the plugin and choose the S curve you'll see what I mean. You can also run it a second time and it even gets prettier! Nicely done. |

Bad Boyby dahkotaComment: You are finding some really interesting locations to shoot! I like this a lot. One idea I see for this is to perhaps try it with some grain or some grunge processing to make it a bit "darker" in mood. |

The Auroraby SCI 009Comment: Wow, so many colors--very nicely captured!
One suggestion: You might try sharpening the CD edges a bit in your image editing program. |

Chocolate Kissby StrikeslipComment: Good idea! I didn't vote but indeed this should have done better.
What might have been better here though is a slightly (even) closer perspective. I think the crop could have been stronger. Perhaps just the eyes, nose and mouth (make an L with your hand there and look at that crop). It's worth playing with some more unless you are 100% satisfied! After spending all the time and effort to rub chocolate all over your face! |

How to interrogate crackersby PedxerComment: Very funny! Nicely done. Perhaps making the photo a little "dingier" and "darker", ala Joey Lawrence style, might have moved you higher in the rankings (sorry, I didn't vote on these!) Message edited by author 2005-08-31 11:49:01. |

Milk Madeby scalvertComment: Clever Shannon! And well done, though I admit I needed your link to see the cow! Congrats on top 10! Message edited by author 2005-08-31 01:12:33. |
