"You vs Him"by JeileenComment: A fresh take on the chess set. I like the water drops, think I know how you did it, and hope you didn't put n/a in the photographer's box. Meets the challenge. Your border maybe just a skosh thick. |

Ancient and Modern by e301Comment: Nicely lit, well composed. The exterior is blown out and that's a minor distraction. Meets the challenge. Might have had something on the puter screen (a cross?) for a bit more punch. 6 |

Old and Newby KonadorComment: Pretty colors, meets the challenge, but I wish the DOF was better on the New dandelion. |

Black & Whiteby tyt2000Comment: This is a wonderful picture but without the title, I don't see it meeting the challenge. I mean, I don't think B&W the moment I see it. I think TIGER. Or Blue Eyes. That said, it does meet the challenge I guess, given the title. The picture itself is terrific. I just can't see a magazine editor choosing it to illustrate OPPOSITES. I like the DOF |

Hunter and Huntedby mrphrtqComment: GET OUT OF THERE NOW! Probably too late. Meets the challenge and I like how you have the individual strands of the web captured. Poor fly! |

Sitting, standing or crawlingby pitsamanComment: I don't know, these aren't really what I think of as opposites! But the picture is adorable, and giving you the benefit of the doubt for the challenge. You might have considered cropping a bit closer to these subjects. |

Beauty and the Beastby jrs915Comment: What IS this? I take it the black thing is some kind of bug? So that must be the beast, right? So where's Beauty? The bug or whatever it is is mostly out of focus, and the background is confusing and doesn't support the subject. |

Deadly Oppositesby rigelComment: This picture is poorly lit, out of focus, dully composed. What's the white thing -- a surrender flag? Are they stuck to some sort of table? Why? There's no dynamic tension in the picture. |

Not a kindby roger2000Comment: I'm not getting it. I don't understand the title; I don't see opposites, I keep wondering what the letters are trying to spell and how that relates to the image. I guess the words is Friends but I still don't see the relationship to the challenge. |
