what next?by PennyStreetComment: Oh, I do love this one. Admittedly, I think it says more about the photographer than the subject, but I know EXACTLY what it's like to be bored and looking about and suddenly "see" art precisely because the mind is looking to engage with something--anything. That's a bump from me. |

Long day by LevTComment: A lot of pathos in this portrait. Nice work! |

The Dirty Rascalby glad2badadComment: Possibly my favorite in the challenge. I'm astounded by how effective this selective focus still life is for me. It's simply marvelous. |

The culpritby MargaretNetComment: I don't understand the title, but I rather love the grandeur of this landscape. :-) |

safety firstby PennyStreetComment: Another surreal composite that keeps my eye wandering. I would love to watch a live edit as you do this sort of thing. |

Down the Lineby MelethiaComment: Excellent kinetic energy to this shot. The high contrast b/w processing and perfectly centered vanishing point really help with that. |

Sunset in the Cityby noranekoComment: This is groovy and fun to look at. Feels very much like it would make a great canvas print for an office space. |

Behind closed doorsby wildirisComment: This would also have worked great in a "hidden faces" challenge. Makes me think of one of the characters in my son's video games. |

Cat's Gameby vawendyComment: Clever variation on a familiar theme. The subject placement, lighting, and color processing are just gorgeous for me. My only nit (and this is a nit of nits): While I love the balls of yarn being different sizes, my eye really wants to swap that ball in the lower right of the frame with the one in the top center. Surely I'm unique in that, though? |
