I am changing my vote to a higher one after a second look at this photo, at first I thought it was a shot that you just cropped off to make work for this challenge as I have seen a lot of other people do but after looking at it again I see how this crop works with the shadow.

I'm afraid this shot was more about the coffee pot, than the challenge it's just a coincidence there is a boy in it from the knees down in the background, he doesn't add to the picture at all.

There have been other photo's in this challenged cropped like this, I'm not a huge fan. It makes me think you are just using a picture you already had and cutting it in half to make it work for the challenge. I think this picture would have been much more interesting with the faces in it but then it wouldn't have worked for the challenge.
