How far from the original ? you mean how much editing ? Light was extreme, so it was a good candidate for HDR, although I processed a single RAW, the SOOC is way to dark as I picked the one where the highlights were manageable.
LR gave decent results with highlights -100, exposure +1 , shadows +100
gradient filter on the bottom to add clarity and a bit more exposure
gradient on top to add contrast and saturation
wish I had used a speed of 1/125 to freeze the ducks, I think I had a 3 stop ND and ISO 50 , so there was more than enough light to do it ...
The lake is quite pretty to visit when there is no one around, like 6AM :) around lunch time it gets crowded, there are boat rides, food vendors, music, a 180 degree turn from the mood shown here. There is a hotel that looks decent right outside the park.
