Second Avenueby bvyComment: I like it! You know, I sell fire hydrants for a living... I think this one needs to be replaced. Looks like an old American Darling model.
That particular hydrant model is a bit 'stockier" than most do to a larger valve opening below grade. So the stocky gentleman walking past is a nice addition! Good result in tough lighting. |

boothby RetroesqueComment: Wonderful in its simplicity. I know those are lamps hanging from the ceiling but I keep thinking chains or something. Good luck in your move! I am in a similar home in the country, but when I visit Chicago or NY (or Cleveland) I often wonder what city living would be like... |

Thank Youby paynekjComment: Yeah! More images! I enjoy shooting older cameras too. And this a a good image. The edges seem distorted a bit... almost a lensbaby effect. Very nostalgic.
Checked you website too. That Purma Special, and the photos you have taken with it- very nice! |

03850017dp.jpgby IraklisComment: This is a very interesting image! Confusing in it's perspective, and challenging to determine what I feel when I look at it. At first the clothing is whimsical, but then the outfits feel so empty. Is this happy progress or desolation? I don't know... like it though. |
