Every one has got to love an old school house. As I look at this picture the shadows and the dark side of the house distract from the picture. It looks to me that the porch which is the best part of the picture could have been used to make a much stronger shot. Maybe you could have incorporated the shadows of the porch on the front wall and the architecture of the porch into a very interestin piece of work. 6

This artistic photo is enhanced by the white line in your frame. I feel that the background is a little overbearing, and I don't like the shadow. Not a bad job though. 5

you have an interesting photo here. I feel thet the diagonal line of the tines lead me out of the picture with the placement of the fork. It may have a place somewhere, like in a restaurant or inn. 6

Stone Wall, Shutters Closed

I have looked at this one three times and still have a hard time making the rather plain shutters interesting enough. Possibly if part of the architecture were included in the picture the viewer could see what the photographer saw when the picture was taken. As it is it does not POP for me. 4

Jelly Bellies

A nice colorful macro but it is just another picture of a bunch of jelly beans. IMO the interest factor is a little on the low side here, it is a set up shot and remember you are in command, so let your imagination flow and try to do something that will make it stand out from like pictures. The washed out spots could be corrected by using indirect or diffused lighting. Try some tissue in front of your flash so the true color will come out. 6

Barcelona: a city to discover

An interesting picture with tourism written all over it. The heavy shadows block out the detail of the front of the old building. I think you should try a different angle or time of day to carture the real beauty and interest of this great subject. 6

This is a wonderful old barn that reminds me of the movie "Witness" However the barn by itself does not keep my interest. I suppose it could be shown with a group of other interesting barns on the wall of an office, but as a stand alone picture it is weak. 5

A wonderful sky and marina. I feel that it could have been much better if you could have placed a boat or other nautical item in the foreground and had the rest of the picture beyond it. This would add character and interest to the overall picture. Did you use a polarizing filter on this? If so great resullts in the sky. 7
