I hope that everyone takes the time to see all of the detail in this shot. The spill looks like it really is booze, by the way it adhears to the shotglass. Excellent contrast and B/W was a good choice. All you are missing is a not so beautiful girl in the background, then you could have called it "They all get prettier at closing time". 9

Generaly larger pics do better on DPC. I think you have a well lighted and technically sound shot. The lamp appears too centered for continuous viewing, so you might try shifting it to one side ot the other to invoke more interest. 5

An interesting shot and nice macro, but there isn't much in it to suggest that you were representing the challenge "Glass". Ask yourself would an inocent onlooker say "Wow what a great picture of glass"? 4

Floating Glass Balls

You have a great subject in your shot. I think the lattice work in the background just about distroys your work. It is very distracting Those shapes just don't compliment the shapes of yout thermometer. Maybe you could try a low angle shot with just a clear sky in the background. 5

A nice shot in an elementary sort of way. Good focus, no distortion and nice crop. The colors look to be a bit on the grainy side from over compression, which doesn't allow it to be as bright as one would expect. 6
