You have wonderful subjects here, but I think you just included too many objects.. In my opinion if you only had the green watering can with the pump it would be killer. The hose, funnel, yellow can, flower pot and the tile it's setting on have to go! 6 now 9 fixed!

Well done. The shadow on the leaf in the foreground is a bit distracting, I think it would be much stronger if the bright colors were throughout the subjects. 7

Back breaking work, thats why I don't have one. Just a little more contrast would improve the quality of your picture, and if the baren three rows were cropped out, bringing the gardener and the tiller more into play it would be super. Good eye. 6

Your picture looks quite overexposed with a lot of real bright areas. A smaller aperature or shorter exposure would increase the detail and color quality. I am having a hard time seeing the ivy as the main subject as your title suggests. 5

Nice setting but the centered tree distracts from the great bench. I can't see how to improve it, so what help am I? 6

I say a bit overexposed, (loss of detail in the string). Is that a snail shell hidden in the bamboo? Maybe that would have been a good subject by itself. 6

Sometimes you just gotta be satisfied with what you got. If the poor little tree were placed closer to the thirds line it would become more predominate, making the picture more interesting, I think! 5
