Being Aloneby KINGComment: Nice composition, great coloring too - helps make the mood. Model's pose furthers this as well. Lighting and focus looks good. A nice solid image. I'm not sure about the border though, distracts for me a little. 7 |

No One to Play Withby jimmspComment: What a cutie! Great colors, use of natural light is good. Fits the challenge well. Seems to be a bit soft focused, would prefer more sharpness on the child. Nice solid image. 6 |

MEXICAN LONELINESSby euskadiComment: Beautiful photograph. Excellent use of light, the black & white makes it even more powerful. Great focus, and composition. I don't necessarily see loneliness, but there looks like a sadness in her eyes. Fits the challenge well. What a wonderful image. 8 |

Racismby csokaComment: An interesting portrayal. Fits the challenge very well, with a nice use of light and space. I do think the focus could be a little sharper though. Excellent vision. Well done. 8 |

Aaron All Aloneby sssobelComment: A nice image. I like the color vs. the pale rocks. I also like the overall natural feel of the scenery. Fits the challenge very well. The lighting is a bit too harsh for my tastes, especially where it glares on the rock next to your subject, draws the eyes away from him and to the rock instead. A sharper focus on the subject might spotlight him better so he doesn't blend too much into his background. Nice job! 6 |

lonely shopby mavigadolComment: The lighting, focus and overall composition of this shot is very nice. I also like the b&w aspect of it. Unfortunately, I'm not getting the feeling of loneliness indicated by the title. Also, the presence of two mannequins in the window really throws me off of the 'all alone' feeling to. I think you've done a great job on the technical side, but I'm not getting the emotion the challenge alludes to. 7 |

..::Alone in this Big old World::..by NazgulComment: Very nice shot! I love the b&w choice, really gives the image more of an edge. The posture of the subject against the gritty background is fabulous, helps tie-in and give truth to the title. Focus is pretty good, seems a bit soft on the model and really good on the background though. Not sure if that was purposeful or not. I'd rather it the other way around. Use of light is excellent. One of my favorites this go around. Wonderful work! 9 |

Alone in the Wildernessby bexforlifeComment: Nice interpretation! I love the color difference, it is afterall what makes the shot work for 'all alone'. I think more of the green/brown trees surrounding would help enhance that feeling - not sure if a wider shot was possible. Also, I wish the tones were a bit lighter, I think it would've boosted the colors just a bit. Other than that, I like the composition and vision behind the image. Well done. 7 |

naturallonelynessby markorasicComment: Nice use of space and perspective, but the subject gets a little lost in the vastness to me. Perhaps being a shade closer would help. Good use of the light, the pale colors are good too. Would like a little sharper image. I really enjoy the expansive feeling of the shot. Good job. 6 |

IN the HALLby murphxoxoComment: The subject certainly looks alone, the perspective and long shot helps support that. The lighting helps with the details, though I wish the woman was a bit sharper focus-wise. Also there seems like a slight tilt to the image, I can't tell if that was purposeful or not - but I find it a distractant instead of helping the photo. Other than that, its a really sound capture. Well done. 6 |
