Great dramatic clouds in the sky, makes for a nice contrast with the lighter yellow in the horizon. I like the silhouette effect, though I wish there was more distance in the shot. The tree looks very close up. Fits the challenge well. Nicely done. 6

Excellent image! High contrast, beautiful focus. I like the title, as it gives the image that push into a sadder mood than I might have seen on its own. Fits the challenge well. Lighting really works here. I don't think there's anything I'd change. 10

I love this image. Very stark, high contrast. The perspective is excellent, lighting gives a very nice gritty mood to the photo. Perfect silhouette. This is only a minor issue, but I wish the whole wall or whatever is being stood on was in focus. Very nice. 9

Interesting image! Title really pulls it all together. I love the color contrasts, the focus is great, but as a personal preference I'd rather the ring was more defined. I like the composition - leaving the pulled petals in really gives depth and background to the photo. A great idea and well executed. 8

Great photo! The lighting is perfect, the sun is just right. Nice use of black and white - good high contrasts throughout the image. Adorable model shown with great scenery as a background. I think this shows all alone (though not solitude or loneliness) very well. Has a great happy feel to it. Focus looks great to me. Excellent image. 9

An interesting image. I do think it fits all alone well - the wording around her gives the imagination a number of ways to interprete the scene. I like the differences in size and shape, the color is good too though a little less vivid that I'd expect. Nice work. 7

lonely rain drops

A different shot. I like the raindrops, wish more of them were in focus though. It looks like a thoroughly dismal day. Can easily infer loneliness or solitude. To be honest though, the scene beyond the raindrops isn't very interesting, doesn't capture my attention very well. 5
