Very interesting image! I like the color and lighting, the negative space makes it stand out all the more, fits the challenge well. I wish there was more focus though on the building. Other than that, a great photo! 7

Gorgeous colors, the leaves are fantastic. Nice distance feeling, helps give a solitude tone. I'm wishy washy on whether the couple would count as a single subject, I find it hard to view it in an 'all alone' light. Focus is good, composition is nice, though I'd have preferred the couple to be somewhere other than central. Also, I'm not sure why the red coat is so much more bright than the leaves on the trees, but it does seem a little too vibrant. Don't get me wrong, these are rather small things, I think this is a fantastic image. Nicely executed. 9

Great focus, I love its sharpness. Lighting is good and the composition works nicely. Fits the challenge well, almost feel sorry for the leaf, its so battered and bruised! Very nice solid image. 7

Composition is good - I like that the main subject isn't directly in the center. Quite a few computers, makes for a little bit busy image. Lighting is okay and the photo fits the challenge in general, but the soft focus over the whole image really detracts for me, the interest factor is missing for me. 4

Nice contrasts via color. I like the sharp lines and angles in the image. Lighting is good, as is focus though I wish the black chess piece was a little sharper. Fits the challenge generally but I don't get a feeling of solitude or loneliness. A good solid image. 5
