Infinite winterby eikidigiComment: Gorgeous photo. I love the way ice looks in black & white. This has a very haunting look, the play between the moving water and the frozen water is great. That little house nestled in adds even more interest. Simply beautiful. That said, I find the connection to infinite tenuous based only on the photo (doesn't say infinite to me) - its mostly inferred by the title - but I *can* see the possibility of an never-ending winter occurring somewhere in the frigid north. Very lovely shot. 8 |

Back to the drawing board: Divide by zero = infiniteby NatatorComment: Great composition. Everything looks in place, I don't know math (ugh) so I don't know how accurate the equations are but they look the part. Nice range of items around, good lighting, the focus is good but I do wish it was a little bit crisper, not sure if that's due to resizing or not. I really like the thought and effort that went into the details of this - the one thing that really does it for me is that ring from the coffee on the paper. Excellent. 9 |

On the roadby puyaComment: Fits the challenge, the lighting is good, though a bit harsh on the horizon. Nice contrasts in colors. I wish the focus was a little sharper and there weren't those streaks across the sky (powerlines?). Also the image looks slightly tilted, which could be a nice interest point if it was more exaggerated - but as is, I find it more distracting than not. Its a good shot, just needs some tightening up. 5 |

Ah, Finally! Enough of me for the whole world!by NeuferlandComment: Heh, cute title. I like the image, the angles shown are great, works very well in black & white. Has a nice added crispness. Lighting is good, composition is too. I like that the subject isn't looking directly into the camera, gives her an impish look. Really the only thing I'd change is minor - would rather the focus was sharper across the bottom so everything was in focus, but its only a tiny thing. Very well done. 9 |

Through the Wormholeby TooCoolComment: Definitely fits the challenge, looks very science fiction-y. I like the contrast between crisp curving lines and then the blurred black hole. Is this a spring? Or maybe one of those wire whisks? Lighting is great. Well done! 8 |

The Sands Of Time by QuadrajetComment: Great image! I love the composition, the placement of both the time pieces & the sand is excellent. I like the warm tone of the lighting as well. Great use of space and the focus is very nice. You should be very pleased with the results, I would be! 10 |

INFINITE LOVEby howzaComment: This is a very nice image. I like the use of black and white and selective use of light. Gives the photo some nice shadowplay and adds to the interest. Besides the title though, I don't really see a connection to infinite - though I can understand the concept behind the photo/title.. I'm not sure it comes through strong enough or has enough context in the actual photo. 5 |

Midwest Field Cornby scrum8Comment: Very nice image! I like the blurred look - seems very watercolor-like. Great interpretation of the challenge, the colors and lighting is excellent. I do wish that the stalks at the forefront had a bit more focus/sharpness to them. Well done. 7 |

A glass a day.........by MWittComment: Nice mirror work! The colors are very striking, composition is good too. That ruched bit of cloth (napkin?) really gives a nice kick to the photo. I'd be interested in seeing this with all of the elements in their entirety too instead of cropped off. Fits the theme very well. I think a big stronger focus would lend a nice crispness to the image. 7 |
