The photographerby ytshuvaComment: critique club:
i dont like the square crop. the photographer seems to get lost and i wont have never seen him without the title.nice colors. compositionally you have some nice layering going on but no way to have them stand apart and the image just blends together unfavorably. |

Glacier Lagoonby ArnaMarieComment: critique club:
i have no idea why you shot at f20 and ISO 3200 and a shutter at 1600, still pretty clean that that ISO. nice refection and i like the b/w conversion. i also like the softness of the image in the sky and iceberg. very calm feel to this image. |

A Split Banana at its Bestby Ja-9Comment: critique club:
i feel like its going to slide right off the table. to be honest its doesnt't do much for me, its needs a more interesting perspective or something... |

The tears of Narcissus by denissprayComment: critique club:
nice capture of an interesting bird, the reflection is muddy and doesn't really match the colorful nature on the main subject. that probably my problem with this image as it need more vibrant lighting it has a very dreary feeling to a non dreary subject |

When life hands you limes...by KMcCComment: critique club:
i find it interesting to look at, im not sure what it says to me though. the image feels a bit heavily weighted to the top as you kind of lose the border the frame provides on the bottom. its clean and sharp, the highlight on the limes are a bit hot but otherwise well exposed.. |

"Not One Pair, TWO Pair!" - Maverick - Top Gunby Dr.ConfuserComment: critique club:
can i ask why you shot f/10?
at that distance you dont need the DOF of f10, you could have open up and gotten a cleaner sky that shooting at ISO 4000.
composition wise its nice, just enough negative space on the right and top. nicely captured too with no blurring of the planes. |

Diamondby Dr.ConfuserComment: critique club:
nice composition and processing, i think i'd like to see the trails not leave the image and come back. the maintain adds a nice sense of scale and adds interest to what would be a pretty boring background. the trees in the front are too dark and weight image too much to the bottom. maybe lighten them up so the focus in on the planes. |

Smile, Say Cheeseby jgirl57Comment: critique club:
the problem i have with this image is i dont know what it is without reading your description, you also have some sharpening artifact going on and the toothpick edges are jagged and could use some anti aliasing. |

Why did the gator cross the road?by KMcCComment: critique club:
i would have liked to see a wider crop and the image is off balance, the isnt enough negative space on the right to balance the left side. |

You don't bring me flowersby posthumousComment: critique club:
i'm not how well i like the wide crop for this image, the left and right images work well together but the transition through the middle loses me as all i see is color noise. the whole image in marred by some sort of color noise, and while that may be intentional, i think i would have preferred it removed since it draw too much attention from the subjects. |
