i do like this alot but i think it suffer from a poorly chosen crop more than anything, maybe center the insect and go with a wider ratio? |

another image that could have used the wide angle filter ;-p
i like the idea, i wonder if pulling the horizon down a bit more would improve the image some, i try to keep my horizon on a third line to favor either sky or ground. this one is kind of stuck in the middle. |

i can understand your thinking, not sure it works for me.. its missing something to draw me in. there is a lot to look at but no real focal point |

nice moment, i'd have asked him to put her are around her to really help the viewer make that connection. bring a tripod and blur that waterfall more!
tones are good, i also wonder about a portrait crop too.. |

great image. vibrant colors, perfect reflection. the image seems a bit off center and i wonder if you put the horizon dead smack in the middle with a wide crop if it would be better. |

cute pic, unfortunelty these never do well in free studies, unless you can transcend the lack of an emotional connection to the subjects these types of images really only appeal to a very very small few.
you did a nice job getting it reasonably sharp at 1/30 shutter and its not dark or grainy, you got yourself a nice memory here and that should be all that matters.

to be honest, you have some great leading here heading out to a nice subject but that person in the middle just kills the image and the red had is just distracting.. compositionally its good, maybe a perspective lower to the ground?
blacks tone are a little dark |

Window reflectionby gminkComment: critique club:
a bit over saturated, good use of the windows for distortion. I'd prefer to see the perspective of the windows straightened out and my eye goes to that the over the glass reflections |

very busy image. you have a leaning line off to the left which works but the overall clarity of the image is lacking, i cant tel if ts just soft or the the rocks on the left are loo busy with detail and highlights..
i feel as if the image needs some sort of vignette to add some drama to the skies. |
