this is a beautiful picture, but to me parts of it are overexposed; I think it would have looked better if the surface it is on, and the background were a color other than white to give better definition to the parts that seem to blend

Many elements are attractive in this, DOF, focus and lighting are all correct; much larger than life size showing detail not normally seen (isn't that the raison d'etre of macro photography?); the subtle interplay between the frog's reflection on the coin's surface and on the surface of the background; and the background surface is interesting in itself, I'm guessing it is something like a metalflake type auto finish. The similiar color of the coin and the background strike a nice contrast to the rich color and texture of the frog. I'm adding this to my favs.
