Locomotive no. 26 "P.H. Bosboom"by AzrifelComment: nice subject, fits the challenge well, but it seems to me that your conversion to B&W has made the sky look unreal, maybe color would have looked better and scored higher |

Wide Blue Yonderby dixonp1Comment: you did well to get some light on the underside of the plane at a shutter speed fast enough to stop the props, nice capture |

Wheelwell Geometryby SMW409Comment: late '60's Dodge? nice pic, firts the challenge well but I wish there was some more definition between the tire and the ground |

Mind the Gapby heidarthorComment: very pleasing composition, the contrast in textures from floor to train add a lot |

The Big Black Dieselby OneSweetSinComment: I like the subject and the composition but the colors look weak, more contrast and maybe just a little more saturation would have improved this shot |

Classic sunsetby pitsamanComment: a nice, clean BelAir, I like the idea of the classy car backgrounded by a sunset but here the sunset dominates the car a little too much for my tastes, especially since it is a car challenge, not a sunset challenge; there is not enough light on the side of the car causing loss in detail fading to no definition at the front tire |

Main Street Bridge Trainby AndrewrComment: very nice pic that fits the topic well but the crop is too close on the right and botom, it makes the train look sort of "pinched" |

Higher Security for Dead Airplanesby jbeazellComment: very good capture, I can almost feel the desert heat, love the depth of field, wish the challenge topic/subject (the planes) were bigger, their role in this composition makes them sort of subordinate to the fence and the sky |

Landingby GolferDDSComment: you did a good job of getting enough light on the underside of the plane |
