LOL! Yes, the breed is notorious for stealing out of the trash! I had a lab mix who ate our whole couch one day while we were all at work. He also stole & ate underwear, knee high stockings (then pooped sausages) and anything in the trash was fair game for him. Oddly enough, he got hit by a Mr. Softee truck & it cured him of all his bad habits (did I mention he would tunnel out & chase the ice cream truck on a regular basis & they would stop & give him a cone?). But the worst part is, after he became a "good dog" (and incurred many, many vet bills from the accident) someone stole him from our yard! We never saw him again.
