I'm actually probably going to take a point off the score for no image title. The rationale... it implies to me that you didn't care about the image enough to give it one. I dunno. I like seeing how people associate words to what they captured with their camera. Even if it's so blatantly industrial, like yours is here.
I also bump people up if I see good titles.
I like the shot, though. 7-1
I like the lines, textures on the pipe, the coposition and the rust.

Heh. They say "brass works" and you say "brassworks" I wonder who's right :)

I like the rustic feel of this shot. I'm normally not an "I wish there weren't powerlines" kinda guy, but I do wish there weren't powerlines in this shot. I think you did well to make them as unnoticable as possible where it matters in the shot though.
Though maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the powerlines add more industry to the shot.

Not sure if you are following the threads, but people are saying that wine glass entries seem to do well. If you look at the wires on the right it almost looks like a wine glass! I bet you did well so.
I kinda like how this isn't really in focus. I'd always be too afraid to enter a competition like that... unless I'm just missing the focus point.
