I like this shot. There's a great feel of experience and age here.
One thing that strikes me about it is that the nose is slightly out of focus. Though maybe it makes it feel deeper. I don't know, heh.

This is in the weird situation where the competition participants scored you higher than the non-participants, all users and commenters. Guess they didn't find your bison a threat :)

I gave you a 4. It felt pretty washed out to me, and the baby wasn't very interesting. Basically your pre-challenge anticipations.
There was something about the green that simply looked odd or wrong to me. Not quite sure what it was. Maybe our grass in Ireland's different to yours. I dunno. It seemed slightly unnatural, which didn't frame the shot too good as a first impression, hence, I'd say, my under-par scoring.
