Loved this. Very nice take on the challenge. Love the mirror'd feeling and green hue to the reflection. Nice work. 8

This is wonderful. Gorgeous. It'll do well, and perhaps ribbon again.

The truth is, and please don't take this the wrong way, that I'm sort of getting bored of these foggy landscape shots. I like to think of dpchallenge as a platform for challenging you to discover and explore new techniques, processing, composition (although I do like this composition) and making people like it. Is there a challenge in taking these shots that you know will be appreciated? I don't know. But seeing how well they're doing for you I'd say you could try to challenge yourself a bit more! :-)
Perhaps I'm being unfair. I think I am, actually. Still though, I wrote it so I'm not getting rid of it! :-)

With all that said, still you get an 8 for this.

Nice. Somehow what I said pre-challenge doesn't feel as important with the two trees as opposed to the one. Maybe the area between them makes a horizontal rectangle that makes the portrait orientation feel right.
Gotta love the change in colours in this. And the strong silhouette.

Rail Bridge

Nice image. And I like the lines.
I think it suffers from a bit of haloing, more so in the reflection, but there might also be a hint of it on the top too. The sky also (to me anyway) seems a bit grey. The kind of grey you can get when you pushed it in PP too much. Not saying yours was (it might be the weather on that day, so it's not getting knocked for it) but it just looks like that to me. It does have the benefit of not distracting you and making you look at the rail bridge, so, as I said, not counting it against it or anything.
All in all a 7 I think. Might bump it later. Might not. We'll see :-)
This is the interpretation of the challenge description I also took.

I'll have to do investigations to see if you normally portrait these beech scenes :-)

Nice image.
I may have tried to use hdr to expose more details in the clouds. Though it might be that you didn't want to have the clouds competing for a focal point so shot it this way. Nice capture. It's how I perceived the challenge too.

Hmm. Well, the comment he left you (dfz) is a lot more than the ' he left someone else. And that was marked helpful!

Were it I the shot might have been square cropped hanging to the right. I don't know that I think the woman to the right adds much to the image, but I consider the horizon, steam and water turbulence the focal points of this image so that's why I said that.
Really nice colours though. Nice and simple.

Really liked the composition of this. The darkness all around set the moody mood. The plant growing inside. The dirty and broken glass. The dust, dirt and grime. The slight tilt. I liked it all. And gave this an 8.
Really nice clean image. The acid bottle is a definite focal point, and while I think the plastic sheet on the left brings depth to the image it's the only thing that I can think of that people might use to bring down votes. The bright reflections in the folds and valleys. I can't really call it negative space as it is because there are too many details on it. I dunno though. Maybe it is. but the bright parts do bother me. I might have tried to clone them down a notch were it me. Then again I am prone to over-editing, so perhaps it's best as it is.
Great focus on this. Nice that the bottle and window are sharp.
Definite 8.
