La lune rouillée

There is no rust at all in the shot. However you have brought out a concept by playing with the image title and the challenge topic. Had to do some traanslation just to get the title right in english 'la lune rouillée... the rusted moon' This is one of those images i'm not sure how to rate, considering it is a DNMC just by looking at the picture but still meets the challenge (I guess) by looking at the title. Amazing shot nevertheless.

I see rust. But the image is too noisy/grainy. Also there is nothing much around the rust to compose a picture. Dull colour adds to an over all faint appeal on the image. I'm having trouble identifying which part of the image is in focus.

One of the few truly nice shots which actually shows what the challenge asks for. Great way to compose a picture around the rust. Good lighting and I think its the colour that draws attention. But why is the image not straight?

Beautiful image with nice processing in play. While there is nothing much really in the b/g, the colour by itself creates a nice picture around the chain.

Rust for sure. But there is nothing much around those 2 pieces in the shot to make in more compelling. Maybe macro/close focus is not the way to go for this challege, considering you need to show a picture around the rusty subject

Good shot. Focus spot on giving a clear view of the rust. But still there is more of a plain b/g than a picture around the chain. Or is it that the b/s IS the picture around the rusted subject? Either way this is a nice capture.

I'm not able to figure out what the rusted surface is. Attention on the bug. More like you have created a picture with rust around the subject. The texture on the bug itself gives an illusion of rust.
