butterflyby TiberiusComment: Nicely balanced and appropriate subject placement for the challenge. I would like to see more separation between the butterfly's foreground and background wings. |

gullby PennyStreetComment: Well-handled tonal range and shutter speed to freeze motion. While the bird is certainly placed at the upper-right RoT intersection, I'd be curious to see the difference if the placement was based specifically on the bird's eye. |

Taking Flightby NeilComment: Wow. The subject is really well-isolated through the RoT placement and against the background of the whitewater. The compression of a long focal length lens really makes it look like he's about to crash into the jagged rock in front of him. |

Lizardby ladpupmoeComment: Well done. I particularly like the echoes of prickly skin in the succulents on the left side. |

Survival in a Harsh Environmentby hahn23Comment: A beautiful and well-composed scene that uses the RoT well. I only wish there was better separation between the foreground tree and the dense background foliage. |

Late night snack by GeorgesBogaertComment: Well-placed subject for RoT, along with fascinating background art. It's pretty busy, but the placement and lighting creates decent subject isolation. The left and bottom vignetting is too much for my taste... Still an effective response to the challenge. |

Lady Dancerby glad2badadComment: I like the fall color palette' contrast with the dark branches of the tree trunk. It's placement and even its presence elevates this from verging on abstraction to a meaningful fall image. Cool. |

super emo by gintayComment: Nice RoT subject placement combined with a soft background that provides context without distracting from the subject, which has interesting posture and facial expression. |

Juvenile Great Blue Heronby MaryOComment: I like the way the subject placement leaves lots of room on the right and adds to the mystery of what's got the bird's rapt attention. |
