Yes Lev, none of the cow or the board were actually black & white. I tried several colors, like yellow and red (yeah, I know ;)), but ended submitting it in just classic black & white.

It is actually quite easy to miss the "ghost kayak"; the exposure may be a bit too long here to really appreciate the action. Nice reflections though, I'm sure there is a nice potential here on a sunny day.

Haha, thanks Alfredo for all the kind words :-)

I would add that I started photography 1 year ago due to my wife working almost every Saturday, which means I have a full day every week that I can affect to my shots... I am aware this is a great advantage over persons that have kids or family to take care of, which also explains why I am able to fool around with wood sticks ;-)
