Thanks Cory. I don't enjoy minimal challenge at all, as I said, I see no point letting the camera adjust anything for you: in my opinion it's the photographer's job. Shooting JPEG for example is just irrational. However, I am convinced processing skills are extremely important even if you don't spend hours in Photoshop, and I wanted to illustrate my point. I shouldn't drink at workby Alex_PetriniComment: Your idea definitely suits the challenge perfectly, I love the humor! It is also very well done, and was deserving a better score in my opinion. Keep them coming! |

Giver of Life by Samantha_TComment: Congratulations Samantha! Your interpretation of that difficult challenge is simply beautiful. The smoothness and blending of the different photos is incredibly well done, it really gives an feeling of serenity. |

Freedom by Alex_PetriniComment: Congratulations Alessandro on the strong finish! And thanks a lot for your kind words about my work. Frankly, I had some luck when I did my shot, everything went exactly accordingly to the plan (sun, see, sky, jump, planks), which is not always the case. Given the fact your conditions weren't ideal and given the processing limitations (regarding banding, Topaz Denoise is very good as far as I can tell), you did a great job. Thank you again for choosing one of my image, much appreciated. |

The Feast by MinsoPhotoComment: We all know that the worst thing for a work of art is to be ignored. Obviously yours is a great success! Congratulations on the much deserved ribbon. You obviously don't need my advice about that, but please ignore those that are much better at getting noticed with their provocative words, than with their photos. Can't wait to see your next creation. Message edited by author 2012-11-14 16:31:45. |
