Romantic spotby habesComment: This is just beautiful! It's one of my 10s for the week & one of my favorites from DPC overall. The focus in the foreground seems a tad soft. Is it due to compression or was the original a bit blurry? ~indigo997 |

Firesideby inspzilComment: Tough lighting situation to get good focus. Did you use a tripod and tell him to FREEZE! :o) Might be good with him not centered. The really cool part is his face. You don't need all the extra space around him. His face alone has enough neg space. |

Left Behindby DougPazComment: Nice placement of the sun. I think you could have given a little less exposure or something and gotten more color from the sky. I like the composition. It's simple and direct. This is a great example of converging verticals (not sure if that's good or bad) :o) I'm not very religious so this doesn't have much emotional pull for me, but it's a lovely pic just the same. ~indigo997 |

Open Wideby David EyComment: How did you do this? It looks so completely PSed that it's amazing to know it isn't. It's really cool! Great work and nice use of the neg space. ~indigo997 |

alienby snowComment: Great pic for a horror novel! How'd you do it? The only way I'd know to do it is with PS so I'd like the details on how to do it with the camera. It looks really cool. ~indigo997 |

Strikeby KonadorComment: WOW! I'm in awe of the beauty of this fire, and the crop is great - especially on the right side. Really good focus and exposure. Excellent use of negative space. Good work and good luck! ~indigo997 |

Out of the Blue by JeanComment: Well, noone copied this idea anyway :o) The weird part is that I know he's underwater, but his hair looks dry. I love the blue color. Focus & lighting is amazingly good for the situation. What sort of set-up did you use? ~indigo997 |

mirror mirrorby jeboComment: That's a cool mirror :o) The exposure is a bit underdone maybe. Tough lighting, but it's a tad too dark. It's a really cool pic tho not the best example of negative space IMHO. 7 ~indigo997 |
