Very tough subject to shoot because of the exposure problems associated with white feathers. I love swans tho, and you did a good job of catching one up close. I would rather see his head. Too bad he didnt turn it to his other side ;o) Meets the challenge, technically good, pleasing subject. 6 ~indigo997

I've been a little overwhelmed with patriotism lately, but this is very nice. It's a great reflection that definitely adds to the image. I like the colors in the reflection. The one problem is the frame on the right side. I think it would look better if you could have figured out a way to get rid of that and just shown the glass, but with the sizing restrictions I'm sure it's difficult. Good work. 8 ~indigo997

Nice set! I think this is a good idea, but you might have executed it more effectively. The grass in the bg and the sky & tree reflections distract from the subject. You could try a solid bg indoors with some dramatic lighting to create the reflections. Wait..someone else did that! But I think the problem with their photo is that they didnt show the whole board. Combine the two and you've got it made. :o) The repetition of the pieces is really nice. You might also try just focusing on one side of the board with the line of pieces since the reflections on the front side are cut off anyway. Just some ideas. I do like the perspective. ~indi

Don't you hate when someone else has the same idea? This is a pretty shot tho. The exposure on the feathers is good. Focus seems a tad soft on the head. Did you try messing with levels in post-processing? I'm also not sure that a different crop wouldn't help. He's just so very centered. :o)

Technically great. Exposure, focus, composition are all excellent. I like the idea and the colors. Only nitpick is the double reflection on the corner of the guitar. The subject matter doesn't have a lot of emotional pull for me, but it's still interesting. ~indi

This is a very clear reflection. One of the best in the bunch. It's excellent for this challenge tho I'm not sure how much appeal it has outside of the challenge. Technically great. Meets challenge for sure. ~indigo997

British Museum? I was there not long ago :o) I bet I know who took this if that's it! I love that room. Cool shot. The reflection isn't as strong an element as in some of the other pics tho.

Someone needs a manicure :o) I am so totally not a guitar girl so this isn't a very appealing shot to me, but I'm gonna try.... It seems a little too dark maybe, and the reflection isn't as primary to the shot as in some of the other entries. It is a sharp, clear photo tho. Technically good. I also like the perspective. ~indigo997

COOL! I think I recognize that cowboy hat :o) This is a very lovely shot. I really like the layers. The reflection doesn't play as large a role as it could (and does in some others), but it was a great idea. The focus on the flowers seems soft somehow. Maybe it's compression. ~indigo997
