Hmmmm very interesting take on the challenge, seems a little odd in here, but everyone sees beauty differently, what is ugly to some, is lovely to another.

Having said that I can see why you like the simplicity of this image, if it was mine though, I would of cropped the top off as it doesn't add to the image at all, I like the high contrast look though.

Oh and about the egg I realised after I commented, that In the USA and Canada you seem to bleach your eggs, not so here in Australia. Bit like the cheese as well, you die it to make it yellow!!
