Nice scene. I see a few things that could have helped this.

* The center composition isn't very dynamic. Move the frame more to the right (so the horse is on the left) and up a bit (to remove some of the ground) and you have a more dynamic shot.
* There seems to be a lot of digital artifacts, perhaps from the JPEG conversion.
