This is a really great shot overall. I do see a bit of haloing, which is taking away from the photo somewhat (did you convert to HDR?).

This photo has potential. It's pretty well composed, and it looks like you got low to the ground to get a straight on shot. However, the focus feels a bit off, and the lighting it really harsh (a lot of blown out background grass). I would suggest for the latter to bump the EV (exposure value) down to maybe -2/3 or -1 to ensure the highlights are not blown out.

This is making my mouth water. I'm sure you'll get some low votes from the bovine purists. I am not taking any points off for that, but rather for the lighting/background. You did well in showing the textures, but I think it could have been even better with a diffused light source, and a solid background.

I like the idea you were going for here, but I feel the photo could have used some improvements:
-I would have cropped out the person (especially sine he has a colorful jacket, he's really standing out)
-The back/side sunlight is making it so details in the cows' faces isn't seen. Maybe a fill flash could have helped, or a reflector.
-I really like how the little cow in the back has his feet in the air :)
