Grapesby ahmadbaaraComment: I like the idea behind this (looking at grapes from a different perspective). I wish the in focus grapes were slightly sharper, to reveal more of the textures on the skin. |

Ears of cornby casatigeoComment: Not really corn, but I won't take off for that :)
I think I would have liked this photo a bit more if there were a distinct point of focus. As it is, my eyes are wandering around with no real place to stop. |

One in a rowby hajekaComment: When I first looked at this, I liked it somewhat, but not enough to give it an above average score. After looking at it again, I know why. The amount of whitespace beyond the objects (stones? plum pits?) is a bit much. Maybe cropping it tighter would have mad the photo more appealing. |

Checkmateby pixelstudioComment: I like the idea for this shot. Has a bit of an abstract feel to it. I don't know that it works the best for this challenge, where I think showing details of the main subject is helpful. |

Hooter's Horsey Rideby asamiteComment: I'm sure you had fun with this photo. However, the background is pretty distracting. I wonder if the girls would have been willing to pose in a location that put even more focus on them. |

MaRiGoLdby BeckyTComment: Overall, a good photo. I would have probably left out the close flower, as it's more of a distraction than anything (it doesn't really help the shallow DOF aspect to me). |

Four!by MikeComment: I like the idea and nice job catching the action. One this that is taking away form this image is where the eye is first drawn. For me, My eye goes directly to the ball, and I have to hunt around to find the in focus tee. |

The Prince and his Consortsby NeVeRynComment: Cute photo of the mallard family. Unfortunately, the use of shallow DOF doesn't really add anything to this photo, so I have to score it lower due to that. |
