Great deep color. I like the little hints of light, they add a bit of life to the photo.

EDIT: So sometimes, if I leave DPC and return later, it puts the comment I added for a different photo as the comment on some other photo. I'm not at all sure why it does that. But luckily, this comment could be somewhat applied to this photo as well. The hints of light are on the snow, and the color is in the trees.

Interesting vantage point. Lots of details in the grass. Makes us wonder what's just beyond.

But this doesn't fit into the challenge at all. The light source is obviously behind you at some angle.
