This is a nice use of the lensbaby effect. It gives a sense of depth to the tulips that otherwise wouldn't be seen.

Make sure to watch out for blown highlights in a shot like this. Those areas are really detracting from the scene, which could be very beautiful. Also, I would recommend using a smaller aperture to get more of the scene in focus.

The lighting of this photo gives to much weight to the sky, that I barely notice the fence as my eyes move through the shot. More of an observation than anything, so use that information as you wish.
