Seems to be well lit and in focus but it doesn't really pop. The imperfections on the fork really stand out since it is so close and I don't get a sense of hotness.

This shot isn't too bad, you have a nice focus on the subject and it seems to be exposed fine. The problems for me is mainly the light from, i'm guessing a window, the background is distracting and the spot on the upper left. Good luck.

The biggest problem for me in this shot is the size. It is too small to really get a good feel for it. I think you had a good idea but the size really hurt.

I,m not one to say anything with this after some of the shots I have done but I have noticed that the overdone hdr doesn't go over too well. I like your composition and everything but tone done the pp and make it a bit more realistic looking and this would have done really well. I give you a 7 because I love the composition but I don't care too much for the pp is this instance.

I think this would have been a really nice shot but the background is horrid. Maybe even hanging a white sheet would have helped.
