Relicsby banmornComment: I find that shooting stuff like this is hard with anything but new units or really really worn units, as something like these that have been used a little, but not much, gives the contacts unattractive wear and marks. A bit of cloning could have helped. I also think a closer crop rotated to level would have been nicer.. Actually I'd like to have just seen a macro of the gold contacts, the pattern on those is great! Love the contrast of straight lines and curves. |

Voltby jnenvirComment: Not a bad image, but I'm afraid that the dings/scratches/etc kinda spoil the whole "high technology" feel of this one. The other issue as I see it is the way the door overhangs the wheelwell, it would be nice if it had extended down into the black void more, or if it had stayed entirely within the bounds of the body. Either could have helped this image I think.
In any case, still a nice example of technology, and a reasonably well done and processed image. Message edited by author 2012-07-23 00:15:23. |

Road Killby davidwComment: not bad. I think that more could have been done, but the overall image comes off clean and visually appealing. |

iTypeby DistantColoursComment: strange. iLike it, no matter how you iDid it. ;)
Really though, good concept, mix of elements/generations of technology, and execution/processing. I hope to see this near the top. |

Chained Technologyby dmsmithComment: I like this one... I think the processing is a little weak and that this image actually had much more to give, but despite that the representation of technology here is valid and present, as this shows several VERY important advances in technology. |

21 Years of Progressby dtremainComment: How many people do you honestly expect will even notice the iPhone?
Not a terrible for sure, but I suspect most will miss the iPhone, and the hard-drive is off-center, and has hairs on it - you really could have done just a bit more with this and gotten better results. |

Energy from Movement by BenstedComment: Focus here is not great. The image could have been really nice, but it needed less noise, and more focus. |
