Lights on Whiteby YandrosxxComment: how strange. This looks very cool - guessing it's a sheet of paper over a monitor or some sort of light source.

Subject happens to be lighter than the background. That is not what the challenge required.
6 for excellence, but different lighting (read backlighting through the paper) could have easily driven this to an 8 or 9.) |

You should have hit this with at least one more stop of exposure, but as it it it's not bad.
Is it light on white though, or is it mid-tones on white. Photoshop says it's midtones. ;)
6, for a nice portrait, but only 6 because of the DNMC issue. |

I'd probably have bumped this if it wasn't a printed note, and if there weren't awkward periods in it. |
