Revolution by gyabanComment: I think this is the only shot in the whole challenge that made any sense to me and was fun to view. But not voting. |

Swimming in Wineglassesby sjhulsComment: This just makes me laugh and laugh. Love it, love it. 10
Ok, I have been inspired by all the great works in this challenge, and I have been leaving story/poems as comments on some of them. This one deserves that as well. I didn't enter, so this was my way of inserting some creative energy.
Hours and hours of fun in the sun. Flowers and flowers as far as the eye can see, but no sign of a single bee. We kids borrowed my fathers glass and ladder, hoping he would not become madder. Climbing, laughing, jumping, over and over again, till the sun shone no more. Tomorrow a new day will begin again, what new wonders will be waiting for us kids to explore? |

My Tree of Life by DennisheckmanComment: Originally posted by bergiekat: Double trouble! What great detail and curious if you used flash on this. |
No flash was used, just that massive ISO of 12800 and the rest was done with careful processing. I also used my 2X extender which takes that 70-200 lens aperture to f/8. Not much light comes through with that. I also used the spot metering setting since it was actually fairly darker inside the tree trunk. I didnt want to take the chance of the evaluative setting with a challenging exposure like that.
Thanks again everyone for all your great comments! Very Happy with the outcome of this shot. |
