The golds and reds in this create a beautiful juxtaposition of colours. Very nice - especially like the 3 sharklike fins on the surfboard & the wide expanse of beachland & water.

Not sure if this captures the direct "Spirit of a Country" but it is a beautiful photograph nonetheless - crisp, crunchy, colourful in its own way. Perhaps it connects to the spirit of enduring all kinds of weather without complaint & revelling in the gifts Nature brings us when we least expect it.

The Fishmonger's Wall

The weathered textures & colours on this wall are delightfully diverse, and the shapes of the fishbobbers echo the curved bush as well. The square of the window that you can almost see into echoes the individual shingles of the siding which makes up the building. Masterfully done, a veritable used colours seafood inspired rainbow.

Superbly crafted night shot, very sharp with the dazzling rainbow light reflections in the water. Excellent cityscape, I found myself studying the various buildings & signs more than the water but the urban colours make a balanced whole. This is a photograph where the eye can travel around it looking at textures & juxtapositions for a long while.

Knot your normal rainbow colours either, but beautiful all the same. I like how each scarf gets progressively longer in the parallel arc and the knots go from larger to smaller in inverse proportion, and that their bottom edges are jaggy not grounded. Creatively thought outside the box.

Rainbow colours crafted out of interesting textures and yummy edibles (though not necessarily at the same time) - creative & delightful. Lemon yellow, Pumpkin orange, Berry blue, Pomegranate red, Pepper green & Cabbage purple - a truly unique complementary arc. The grass sprigs & curled leaf bed remind one yet that this is an Autumn cornucopia. Well done.
