I'm pretty happy that some of you liked very much this one. I like to experiment new things. Surely it's a very different/strange angle/style than usual for me but that's what I like in this! I made a huge mistake cloning out the reflection of the studio flashes in the eye - with them the eye shape had much more depth. |

(There'll Be) Peace in the Valley (For Me) by GilesComment: Originally posted by Giles_uk: Went to bed late here was at 7.2567 at 10 mins to roll over not sure why it dropped Down maybe vote scrubber |
It can happen also because of people who haven't voted 20% of the pictures. Probably Dennis' score was even higher than what he got.
In any case a wonderful image! |

The sky burned with fury as the sun slid away for the final time by GilesComment: Originally posted by Giles_uk: I had my level on the camera I don't think it's tilted maybe the undulating horizon |
Well, the level can't be wrong for sure. When I take landscape pictures and I find situations like this I prefer to deceive the viewer choosing which is my horizon, but surely it's my choice. In any case a beautiful image - you have many nice landscapes lately :) |
