Raven Dance by gyabanComment: I didn't vote in this challenge but I would have been one of your 10's and not among the 4- crowd :)
Surely one of your best creations, congrats! |

There are (and there were) many ways to kill a man - guns make it easier. |

Six degrees of separationby Alex_PetriniComment: Originally posted by Neat: I'm not sure if anyone else can see this, but I see all these blotchy marks like some serious banding around the left egg, is it my monitor or not, not sure?? |
I can see no banding (checked on 2 computers, one phone and one tablet). If you mean what is visible on the left, that is just the out or focus area. Anyways this was minimal, so no way to fix any kind of issues :) |

I disagree with both these statements. A lunar eclipse can look like this. And giving this image high votes does NOT mean people don't care. It's a good artist's impression of a lunar eclipse. |
Doesn't look like any total lunar eclipse I've ever seen. And, I've seen a few and photographed several. How about you? Voters were deceived. |
Richard since you are not very polite man (sending messages and not letting me answer is a clear sign of that) I'd like not reading the verb 'deceive' from you here anymore. |

Red night by Alex_PetriniComment: Originally posted by hahn23: But, you didn't photograph the lunar eclipse. It's a much different ballgame than photographing the bright full moon. Congratulations on your blue ribbon, but it truly doesn't meet the challenge. You've done a good job of turning a full moon red. But, that's not the way a total lunar eclipse looks. I guess no one seems to care. So, more power to you! |
I was sure that not everyone would like my attempt. I'm honest and I wanted to say what the truth was. If Langdon had chosen a more generic challenge title I wouldn't need to turn the moon red. The challenge was really US-centric IMO. In any case if someone is upset with my image I really apologize. |
