Very nice idea Margaret! Some advice to improve what, in any case, is a good result: Light on the tree (it comes from the right, so you could dodge and burn the tree to let the viewer understand the direction of light). Change the color balance of wings and use the clone stamp tool to improve the transition between the horse and the wings. You could add some horse shadows on the tree. But at first sight it looks beautiful, so these are more than baby steps in expert :)

This was my real goal on this image. This is not my usual processing (at least about colors) and I wanted to see if people liked it only because of that. I can this is an interesting result and I'm happily in the TT :)
