LOL super idea. Very creative. Just falls short in the sharpness department, i.e. the green bottle. But this could be attributed to the explosion :) Love the way the cork "splattered" on the glass. Cropped a bit too high though.
Still I think it has the 0.5 second impact (pun intended) you sought and was no doubt technically difficult to pull off.

Classic Wine Magazine shot. Perfect lighting, reflections, clarity and DOF. Small niggle is the dust and hair on the wooden rail behind the bottle that you could no doubt have processed out in Advanced. Still a top shot. 8.

Lovely high key image with select POI's. Perhaps a bit too much light from the right as the finger nails blend with the fingers and have lost definition. Still a front page contender.

I like the shot and placement with the waterfall in OOF DOF. What gives me a feeling of imbalance however is the sandblasted writing on the glasses is obscured by reflections and the basket behind them.

Lovely warm tones and a solid story telling (magazine like) image. I have a few bottles of Alexanderfontein in my cellar too, bought at the farm. I can see scoring issues for you with your horison appearing unleve due the angled POV l. Must be a South African. Rian? Stephen? Johann? Ammie? Hehe.
